Congratulations to our #SRSI 2022 intern Mohamed Albarakat who has made it to the national stage of #IIBDAA. This is a great achievement by our student Mohamed Albarakat, who is now competing to represent #SaudiArabia at #ISEF, with the SRSI research that he conducted over the summer at #KAUST.
Additionally, Albarakat won the top scientific paper award for his research and development on the subject of “Sensing the Spectrum using SDR Techniques”. Under the mentorship of Prof. Talal Al-Attar, Albarakat worked closely with two assistant mentors from TRYSL Tech, Mohamed Abdelshakour, and Fahad Alturkistani to develop a spectrum sensing technique utilizing the LimeSDR board features and capabilities. The research has been conducted between the KAUST ECE100 lab and TRYSL TECH labs.
